Cupcake holders are used to protect cupcakes from damaging. This damaging can for example happen when they are transported to another place. Damage can even occur when you storage the cupcakes in for example a freezer. A cupcake holder in such situations is ideal. They are also handy for baking cupcakes, and don’t cost that much!

Before you go out buying cupcakes you need to think about how you normally store your cupcakes. Do you transport then? Do you just put them in your freezer? Do you transport them one at a time, or in big amounts?  The most of the cupcake holders are cheap, and they become less expensive if bought in bigger amounts. They also become expensive if you want better quality cupcake holders. Let’s say for example that you want  plastic cupcake holders, this will raise the price enormously.

There basically are three types of cupcakeholders. The most popular type of cupcake holder is the one which is designed for transport in large quantities of cupcakes. This type of cupcake holder is also called the cupcake carrier. They will hold amounts of 12 to 24 cupcakes at a time, and as you can imagine, these are ideal for transport. They usually are bought in two pieces, with a lid that can be removed. These cupcake holders are also the most popular. Most of these cupcake carries have a bubbly-type lid. The second type of cupcake holders which we want to talk about are the cupcake holders which are designed for transport of one large cupcake. This is handy for big cupcakes, but most of the people just bake small ones. If you bake big ones, this type would be ideal.

The third and last type of cupcake holders which we want to discuss are the individual cupcake holders. These individual holders are made, as you can imagine, for individual transport. They completely enclose the cupcake, and are therefore the ideal protection. They come in a lot of different colors and materials. We advice to buy the plastic ones, because these tend to have the best quality. There also are cupcakes in a Mickey Mouse shape, or even star wars shapes. The possibilities are endless. One last tip: make them in ice cones! In this way, you won’t need to bother about health risks, but your cupcake becomes a lot higher and more fragile. Buying some fabriced ones are the easiest way, but hé, not that original.
